What tech actually pays, country by country
Most 'average salary' pages quote one stale national figure. These guides keep the segments that decide your number apart — typical local employers, the top product and big-tech tier, and USD-paid remote work — by role and experience level, and trace every band to a named source. Nordic figures come from the national statistics offices (Statistics Norway, Statistics Sweden, Statistics Finland, Statistics Denmark) plus verified compensation data; Egypt, Saudi Arabia and the UAE use the largest local surveys and verified-package data available.

How these guides are built
Every figure is gross or net as the country quotes it (stated on each page), dated, and tied to the source it came from. Official statistics give the median and the spread of the whole occupation; developer surveys and verified packages fill in the junior-to-senior and local-versus-top-tier splits the official tables don't have. Rows that rest on thin samples are marked as indicative. We re-verify each country's numbers against its sources and show the date on every page.
