1. Use of Services

CV Pro Maker provides tools to create, edit, and download resumes. You agree to use our services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

2. Account Creation

While no account is required to start building a resume, an account is necessary to save and download your resume. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information. Our collection and use of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy.

3. Email Communications

By creating an account, you agree to receive transactional emails necessary for service operation (such as login links, payment receipts, subscription renewal notices, and trial-ending alerts). If you are a former customer — for example, you cancelled a subscription or some time has passed since you purchased a one-time pack — you may also receive a single win-back marketing email under our legitimate interest in re-engaging former customers. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time via the one-click unsubscribe link in each email or from your account settings. Unsubscribing from marketing does not affect transactional emails.

4. Payment and Access

Editing and previews are free forever; downloading (PDF or DOCX) requires a one-time pack purchase, and every paid purchase includes removal of the "Made with CV Pro Maker" branding footer. We offer two ways to pay: (a) one-time packs — you pay once, the pack's features are unlocked immediately, and your entitlements persist indefinitely with no expiry; nothing renews and there is nothing to cancel; and (b) subscriptions, which are billed at the start of each billing period and renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. The packs and subscription plans currently offered, and their prices, are shown on our pricing page. You can cancel a subscription any time from your account settings or via the Stripe Customer Portal — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period and you keep access until then. All products are delivered digitally (PDF, DOCX), and no physical goods are shipped. Prices may include or exclude applicable taxes depending on your location. Payments are processed securely by Stripe.

5. Refund Policy

Subscriptions: refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of any charge. We may grant refunds in cases such as accidental purchase, duplicate charge, or verified technical issue that prevents access. If files were successfully downloaded during the period for which the refund is requested, refunds are generally not available. To stop future charges without requesting a refund for a past charge, simply cancel from your account settings. One-time packs: packs are non-refundable once your features are unlocked, except where applicable law requires otherwise. If a pack payment is refunded, the pack's entitlements are revoked; during an open payment dispute or chargeback, pack entitlements are suspended, and they are revoked if the dispute is resolved against you. Documents you created (CVs and cover letters) always remain yours — only paid entitlements are removed. EU customers have a separate statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for digital content under EU consumer law (CRD), subject to its rules on immediate performance; to exercise it, contact our support team within 14 days of purchase.

6. One-Time Pack Entitlements

Pack entitlements are granted to the account that purchased the pack and persist indefinitely — they do not expire and nothing renews. They are personal to your account and are not transferable. If you purchase more than one pack, the entitlements are additive. Entitlements are suspended during an open payment dispute or chargeback and revoked if the payment is refunded or the dispute is lost, as described in the Refund Policy. Pack entitlements are independent of any subscription — starting or cancelling a subscription does not affect them.

7. Service Availability

We aim to keep the service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update, change, or discontinue features at any time. We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control (force majeure).

8. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality on the Site are owned by CV Pro Maker and are protected by intellectual property laws.

9. User Content

You retain ownership of the content you create using our services. However, by using our platform, you grant CV Pro Maker a non-exclusive license to use your content to provide our services. CV Pro Maker helps you prepare CVs, but we do not guarantee interviews, employment, or hiring outcomes.

10. Prohibited Use

You may not misuse the Site, attempt to access other users' data, or interfere with the service.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access for violations of these Terms.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

13. Limitation of Liability

CV Pro Maker is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the service will not exceed the amount you paid for the service.

14. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use our services.

International Users

If you access or use the service from outside Estonia, you are responsible for ensuring your use complies with your local laws and regulations.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Estonia.

16. Dispute Resolution

If a dispute arises, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it informally. If we cannot resolve it, the courts of Estonia will have exclusive jurisdiction.

17. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. Continued use after updates means you accept the new Terms.
